Application development is itself a system development and it is important that how we understand the requirement document. Company should be able to understand complete flow from begin to end. Application development it self a part of development which is divided into below manners:

Requirement Document: This describes what the project requirement is and what should be the output from the application. Other way we can say it is a system analysis and design. This part also includes the queries to clients and according that further analysis of the system made to reach the final document using various methodology.
Design Face: This is an important face which describes what will be application flow to end user and how end user interacts with application. It also decides database design and field types. Above two methods requires 70-80 % of total project time and helps to take important decisions for what we develop.

Development Face: This depends on your requirement and it includes only 20% time for coding and interface designing.

Quality Analysis: With development, QA Department start to assure that the developed product is as per client requirement. This procedure works on requirement document and interaction with client. QA verifies the product output and input from the interface and send project status to development center. Again development center concentrate on it and modify the problems according to project bug report. This report again sent to QA department for verification.

Delivery and Deployment: As above all process completed, the face comes to delivery and deploys the project on client computer.
